The Annual Bash
King Charles welcomed more than 8,000 guests to the annual Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse during Royal Week in Scotland, continuing a tradition dating back to the reign of King George V and Queen Mary. Representatives from charities, community organisations, local businesses and public services gathered for an afternoon of tea, cake and conversation, with several senior royals joining the King to greet guests throughout the historic palace gardens.

Queen Camilla
Alongside the King was his wife, Queen Camilla, who together hosted the afternoon, greeting guests as they strolled through the historic palace gardens. The royal couple took time to chat with many of those invited, recognising the contributions of people who continue to make a difference in communities across Scotland. For the day, Camilla was dressed in an elegant navy blue dress coat, which she paired with Queen Mary's Diamond Thistle Brooch.
Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, also attended the garden party, adding her signature elegance to the occasion. The King's sister was dressed impeccably and wore a beautifully tailored neutral coat over a vibrant orange dress, completing the look with her classic three-row pearl necklace and a historic family brooch. A familiar face at royal garden parties, Anne spent time meeting guests alongside her brother.

The Duke of Edinburgh
Rounding out the senior royal lineup was Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, who joined his brother, Charles, in greeting attendees throughout the afternoon. The Duke mingled with guests from across Scotland, lending his support to the monarch during another busy week of engagements in the Highlands and beyond. Edward's appearance underscored the royal family's leading seniors, who are now standing together to uphold the monarchy.
