Over the years, the couple has admitted to having certain guilty pleasures. Here are four that stood out.

Kate has never really hidden her love of chocolate. During a 2012 visit to Fortnum & Mason with Queen Elizabeth II and Camilla, she reportedly made a beeline for the chocolate counter and described it as the “naughty counter.” She admitted, “I love chocolate. I think all girls like chocolate." In 2024, William revealed Kate's dessert preferences, confirming that her favorite is sticky toffee pudding during a visit to Duchy College in Cornwall. But she is not the only one into chocolate. William once also admitted to Hello! that he is “a sucker for anything chocolate and anything sweet.”

For all the grand royal dinners William and Kate attend, the couple has admitted that they also enjoy something much more ordinary: takeaway food. During a 2017 appearance on BBC Radio 1 with Scott Mills, the couple was asked whether they were allowed to order takeaway. The answer was an immediate yes. When asked what they would choose, Kate said, “Curry, definitely.” William then explained that the food normally wasn't delivered directly to Kensington Palace. Instead, someone would go and collect it. During the show, William also added, “I like Nando’s — everyone likes a Nando’s.”

Kate has also admitted to having a rather unexpected drink of choice. During a visit to the Indian Streatery restaurant in Birmingham in April 2023, William and Kate were asked about their preferred drinks while taking part in a cooking challenge. Kate casually revealed, “I quite like tequila," as per Woman and Home. William, meanwhile, revealed that vodka was more his thing. He also revealed that he enjoys a good Kamikaze cocktail, describing it as “silent but deadly.”

This is probably the closest thing on the list to a genuinely dangerous vice. William has loved motorcycles for years, but becoming a father appears to have made him more cautious about the hobby. Kate made her feelings about it very clear during a 2015 visit to Dundee, when a well-wisher asked whether William was still riding. Kate replied, “He’s still riding it. It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it,” she said. Talking to the reporters, Kate continued, “I’m terrified. Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off it," reported Hello!
