Royal Expert Claims Real Secret Behind William and Kate’s Marriage Was Hidden in Plain Sight

Highlighting the foundation of their partnership, she shared, “I think the great thing was that she and William were very good friends before they became lovers!
That foundation runs even deeper, as Seward explained that the couple has essentially grown together since meeting while studying art history at Scotland's University of St Andrews. Elaborating on their early days, she noted, “She was, in a way, his sounding board. During what I think was their first vacation from university, he drove to take Catherine out. He drove to her house in Bucklebury and took her to the local pub, and they had a long, long chat.” Recalling their past, she further added, “They were very good friends, and she listened to him, and she advised him, and she said, 'Look, if you're not happy doing History of Art, you know, try to do something else. Do geography or something,' which is what he did.”
In fact, according to Seward, even before focusing on a romance with William, Middleton knew how to handle her own dating life, having previously had another "handsome" boyfriend, before she and the Prince first forged their friendship. This dynamic, Seward notes, explains how their relationship gradually grew from the solid roots of a close companionship.
