Queen Camilla enjoyed an upper-class and joyful childhood in the East Sussex countryside. The Queen Consort was said to be extremely close to her parents and two siblings, and was described as a fun-loving and ambitious young girl. A resurfaced photo of baby Camilla from her childhood shows her almost unrecognizable, and royal watchers couldn’t stop gushing over her innocent looks.

As reported by OK! magazine, on X (formerly Twitter), netizens dug up the black and white photo of baby Camilla. In it, she gazed innocently into the camera as her tiny blonde locks and blue eyes were on display, and fans couldn't help but say the same thing. A royal watcher commented, "I don’t think I’ve ever seen childhood photos of her. She was adorable!" In a similar vein, another echoed, "Too adorable for words." A netizen chimed in, "Wow.... She was a cutie." Likewise, another gushed, "Aww, she's cute."

Camilla was born on July 17 at King's College Hospital, London, where she was raised on a 5.7-acre estate in Sussex. As per Vanity Fair, royal author Penny Junor, detailing Camilla's childhood in her book, The Duchess: Camilla Parker Bowles and the Love Affair That Rocked the Crown, wrote, "As a little girl, she marched happily into school without looking back. She galloped her pony and flew over jumps without an anxious thought. She charged into the sea and laughed at the waves."

The Queen Consort is said to have enjoyed fox hunting in childhood, often spending her spare time riding with her father, Major Bruce Shand. Royal author Christopher Anderson revealed in his book, Game of Crowns, that Camilla was educated at the prestigious Queen’s Gate School in South Kensington, where she earned the nickname 'Milla.' Former Queen’s Gate student Carolyn Benson described her as 'quite a flirt,' noting she had a knack for being able to "talk to boys about things that interested them." Meanwhile, Juror wrote in her book, "She wanted no more from life than to be happily married to an upper-class man and live a sociable life in the country with horses, dogs, children, and someone to look after them all and do the hard graft."

The Queen Consort recently celebrated her 78th birthday. She marked the special day with two stunning portraits at her private residence, the Raymill House in Wiltshire. The royal family's social media channels shared the portraits of the Queen in the same outfit, one released the day before her birthday, and the other on the day itself. According to The New York Post, she received the best birthday gift from King Charles when he bestowed her with the coveted title of Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom, a day before her big day. She is the first royal woman ever to hold the title.
