Kate Middleton has always been able to conduct herself with charm and poise, especially during her royal visits. And her reaction to a recent innocent mix-up clearly proved this. The Princess of Wales visited the Evelina London Children's Hospital on July 6, where the mother of three had a rather adorable interaction with Ejran, a 10-year-old cardiac patient, who ended up mistaking her for the Queen's daughter. But Middleton gave a warm response and cleared his doubt, which was, of course, seriously commendable.

The sweet interaction began when Ejran innocently asked Middleton, “Are you the Queen’s daughter?” Instead of responding in a super formal or awkward manner, the Princess made sure she responded gracefully, with a sweet smile. While doing so, she added, “No, I am Princess of Wales. Very nice to meet you!” Following this, Middleton explained the reason behind her visit as she said, “I’ve come to see the amazing work that is going on here, meet special children, very brave children, like yourself.” In fact, she also took a genuine interest in the adorable patient staying at the hospital by asking, “How long have you been here? A long time?” Middleton also went on to greet his family with a friendly smile as she said, “Nice to meet you.”

The heartwarming conversation continued as the pair bonded over some of the kids’ interests. In fact, after learning that he enjoyed Shrek, Kate laughed warmly and said, “I like Shrek. My kiddies like Shrek. It’s funny, all the songs and dancing.” Furthermore, the Princess of Wales was also equally delighted to hear that he genuinely enjoyed writing poetry. She even went on to exclaim, “You write poems? That’s very good.” When Ejran revealed that he had already written one, the Princess even encouraged his talents by asking him to share it with her. She asked with a smile, “Will you send it to me? I’d love to read it.”

The exchange expectedly won over all the royal fans, with many praising Princess Kate for her warmth, patience, and the genuine charm with which she dealt with the unexpected and innocent mix-up. Watch the video here!

A similar incident also occurred with Prince William when he visited Toxteth, Liverpool, on January 23 to meet local organizations supporting youth in the area. A St. Nicholas Catholic Academy student, Mohammed, asked him if he was the King. William gave an endearing smile with a warm response as he responded, “No, I'm not, no. I'm his son!” This incident proved that both the Prince and Princess of Wales are simply great with children!
