Princess Kate Draws a Firm Line — Won't Push William Into Harry's 'Spectacle': Source

Prince Harry's UK return has revived plenty of royal drama, but the woman once tipped to heal the royal rift may finally be done trying.

The increasingly strained relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William has long been a concern for other members of the royal family, especially Princess Kate. However, according to recent reports by Fox News Digital, it seems like the tables have turned. Reportedly, the future Queen has lost all interest in helping the estranged brothers reconcile. Also, according to various royal experts, it’s quite clear that she no longer wants to encourage William to be a part of Harry’s ongoing visit to the U.K, which is clearly chaotic. This detailed analysis came as a major shock after Us Weekly’s report had previously claimed that, according to an exclusive source, Middleton was actively trying to urge William to make peace with Harry while he was visiting the homeland.

Discussing this claim in detail, Christopher Andersen, the author of Kate! exclaimed that, “Kate is no longer in the business of trying to reunite the brothers. It really is a year of magical thinking when people seriously suggest that the Princess of Wales has the emotional bandwidth to cope with the Sussexes." On the other hand, the broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard also added to this claim, saying, “Unfortunately, my sources do not believe Princess Catherine is pushing for Prince William to meet Prince Harry.”

Chard further explained, “She isn’t pushing for a meeting. She is, however, the one royal who could soften things emotionally, hence the reason Princess Catherine, 'the peacemaker,’ keeps rearing her head.” She also explained how the feeling inside the Wales camp is that Middleton will not allow her family, and especially William, to be “sucked back” into the Sussex drama. She shared, “The Sussex circus of briefings, counter-briefings and public spectacle is seen as tiresome and, frankly, not good for the Wales family’s well-being."

Apparently, there are signs that the meeting with King Charles is also off the table. While commenting on this, Russell Myers, the royal editor of the Mirror, reported that King Charles "has no plans to alter his diary this week to see Harry after his son decided not to bring his grandchildren.” Furthermore, Chard added that Harry has undoubtedly made a song and dance out of this visit; if a warm reunion was on his mind, he would have made a point of flying in Meghan with Archie and Lilibet to see the King. Instead, Harry is choosing to remain a wild card, and “He’s unpredictable to the establishment." Furthermore, Hilary Fordwich, the celebrated expert, added that William has absolutely no interest in reuniting with his brother, and now, Kate plans to stand by her husband.
