Princess Beatrice’s Husband Shuts Down Marriage Trouble Rumors With Loving Post
Edoardo just shared the sweetest birthday post for Princess Beatrice, and his message to his “beautiful wife” is seriously cute.
Speculations about Princess Beatrice and Edo Mapelli Mozzi’s marriage have been circulating, suggesting they are facing marital troubles that could lead to divorce. However, a recent social media post from Mozzi seems to shut down these claims. Beatrice celebrated her birthday recently, on August 8th, and her husband made sure to mark the occasion with sweet words.
In an Instagram post, Mozzi shared a couple of intimate pictures with Beatrice alongside a heartfelt caption, “Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world.” He added, “Love E,W,S,A xxxx,” accompanied by three heart emojis and Beatrice's birth date, “8.8.88.” The caption was signed off with the initials of the whole family, referring to Edo, Beatrice’s stepson Wolfie, their daughter Sienna, and their one-year-old daughter Athena.
This comes weeks after the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary, when separation rumors grew even more widespread after Mozzi failed to share his usual anniversary post on social media. It was a tradition he had followed for years, and the sudden omission did not go unnoticed by royal watchers. However, his recent birthday post has put the rumors to rest, at least for now.
The divorce rumors reportedly started after new details emerged about Mountbatten-Windsor’s connection to Jeffery Epstein. The claims also suggested that the situation had created some distance between Beatrice and Mozzi in recent months. The property developer was later seen partying at a luxury club without Beatrice, further fuelling the speculations.
Royal expert Andrew Lownie peviously told the Daily Mail that with all the speculation surrounding her marriage and the ongoing fallout from her parents’ controversial links to the convicted pedophile, Beatrice was reportedly facing a difficult birthday this year. Moreover, Lownie also claimed that Beatrice’s past birthdays were usually marked by lavish parties and expensive gifts, but this year was expected to be much more low-key.
Beatrice’s 18th birthday could hardly have been more different. The celebration at Windsor Castle drew around 500 guests, with Beatrice wearing a $13,500 dress flown in from New York as the party went on until 3 AM. The whole affair reportedly cost around $540,000, with the late Queen Elizabeth picking up the bill for the lavish Victorian-themed celebration. Lownie added, “The Victorian theme was chosen because Beatrice was born at 8.18pm on August 8, 1988. Guests included Harvey Weinstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Jeffrey Epstein.”
