While royal fans wait with bated breath to see Prince William take the throne, he appears to have his priorities in order. The Prince, who has remained grounded in his duties since becoming a working senior royal, is seemingly following his father, King Charles’s, advice to be a family man first. Reflecting on the Prince’s values, a royal expert claimed he would continue to prioritize his family even after ascending the throne.

In a conversation with The Mirror, royal expert Jennie Bond recently revealed that the future king is ‘extremely serious’ about his duties. Shedding light on future monarch's approach, she added, “As he himself has said, if he can't make some kind of difference, some kind of impact on issues he cares so deeply about – then what is the point of being a prince or of having such a high profile platform?” Referring to Kate Middleton’s cancer battle and the Princess now being in remission, Bond believes that William “seems to be working pretty much flat out for much of the time, and I am sure that will continue.” However, in her view, his family will still come first. Calling last year a difficult one, William also took a break from his royal duties to be by his wife's side as she underwent preventive chemotherapy treatment.

Undeniably, the Prince of Wales is a doting father. He is often seen doing the school run, vacationing with his family, and going to after-school sports clubs and activities, despite his busy schedule on most days. He was even criticized for skipping the traditional Easter Sunday church service to spend time with his family. However, the expert believes that William has always prioritized his family, regardless of the demands of his royal status. She said, “These years are a period when, without the never-ending state duties of a monarch, he can be allowed to concentrate rather more fully on his wife and children. So I think school holidays will continue to be ring-fenced as much as possible, even if he is criticised for doing so.”

Bond took a moment to reflect on William’s picture with his three kids posted on Father’s Day. “You just have to look at the pictures of William and his children released for Father's Day to see how much they adore him and how close they are as a family. This tall, handsome, smiling man is their dad and their protector. And William would never want to put that in any jeopardy," she gushed. In the pictures, the three kids could be seen embracing their father and later playing together in the garden. The caption read, “Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L.”
