Prince William Has a Priceless Reaction to Jason Kelce's 4 Daughters — and Charlotte Might Not Like It
William's humor shined through Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce's podcast when he had a hilarious reason to congratulate the former.
With her perfect poise, strict demeanor with her brothers, and Spencer's stare, Princess Charlotte is easily one of the most popular royals in the monarchy right now. Her popularity has even crossed the pond, as NFL superstars Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce couldn’t help but appreciate her after meeting her during the Eras Tour concert at Wembley in 2024. When her father, Prince William, made a surprise appearance on the Kelces’ podcast, The New Heights Show, on Friday, the two brothers once again gushed about the young royal.
Recalling their meeting from two years ago, proud girl dad, Jason, told William, “Princess Charlotte was still the highlight for me. I had four daughters as well, so, I mean, she was great.” The Prince of Wales had the most hilarious response to that, as he instantly replied, “Congratulations! Having four daughters. I don't know how you do that.”
Travis also mentioned a running joke between the brothers: Jason didn’t know what to do with his beer when he met the future King of England at Wembley. The latter hilariously corrected his younger brother, saying, “It wasn't a joke. It was real. I don't know what... well, you want to be respectful and know what the protocols of course. No, it was awesome. And you were fantastic. The kids were great.”
William had appeared on the ‘Heart Breakfast’ radio show a month ago, where he revealed that Charlotte and Prince Louis were Taylor Swift fans. The young princess is a true Swiftie, often spotted wearing homemade friendship bracelets. And it’s not just her who sports them. The Prince of Wales, as well as her grandfather, King Charles, also proudly wear her friendship bracelets during public engagements.
Travis and Swift are reportedly tying the knot this weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York. Earlier, William had hinted that he might be invited to the nuptials, but this is the closest we can get to their presence, it seems. His guest appearance on Travis’s podcast, hours before the NFL tight end gets married, as per reports, is certainly a delightful surprise.
William’s deadpan humor was at its peak throughout the podcast episode, as he cracked his jokes and laughed alongside the Kelce brothers. And, well, Princess Charlotte got a special shout-out as well.
