Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been happily married for seven years, though critics continue to weigh in on their supposed marital woes. Among them is Lady Victoria Hervey, who briefly dated Prince Andrew in 1999. When asked about the Sussexes' marriage, Hervey admitted she was surprised that their 'rocky' union lasted that long and believed Harry and Markle stayed together only because of their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Hervey said, "I'm amazed their marriage has lasted as long as this. I'm sure it's only because of the kids, because it seems to have been quite rocky for a while. She got him to move his whole life, and now she's back where she grew up." Reflecting on a possible reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royal family, she suggested Harry would need to prove himself a 'changed man.' However, she suggested Markle would never be accepted back by the Firm.

The Duke of Sussex is currently in the UK to attend the WellChild Awards and other charity engagements, which have fueled rumors that he may reunite with the royal family. According to Hervey, Harry must 'make up' with the King 'as soon as possible' before Prince William shuts down the possibility of a reunion. The remarks come as reports claim that the Prince of Wales allegedly thinks a reunion with Harry is a 'terrible idea' for Charles. A friend of his told The Daily Beast, "He [William] respects his father’s rank, and he respects his father’s right to make his own decisions, and he won’t make a fuss if it happens. But he thinks a Harry meeting is a terrible, terrible idea."

Andrew's former flame also argued that the Duke would have to work 'seriously hard' at regaining William's trust, especially after he made several sensational claims against him in his memoir, Spare. One such accusation alleged that William 'grabbed' Harry by the collar, ripped his necklace, and 'knocked' [Harry] on to the floor over an argument over Markle. The Prince of Wales allegedly branded the Duchess 'difficult', 'rude' and 'abrasive,' insisting he was simply trying to help his brother during a meeting about 'the whole rolling catastrophe' of their failing relationship and Harry's feud with the press.

As for Harry and Markle's alleged marital issues, an insider told GB News that Harry reportedly spent nine months planning the way forward for his separate individual brand as the Duke of Sussex. Harry and Markle are rumored to be undergoing a 'professional divorce,' which sees the pair focus on their individual business ventures. The source claimed, "Harry is unkindly described as the 'spare' to Meghan's endeavors. In reality, he has been giving her the space to flourish. Now it is his time to throw himself into exciting new work." They added, "Invictus will always come first, but he has also been working on commercial ideas of his own," which are to be revealed later this year.
