Royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner claims Camilla is fed up with William's interference in Charles's reconciliation with Harry.

Prince Harry and King Charles’s rumored 'peace talks' have given royal watchers hope that their long-standing rift might finally end. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the royal family since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020. While Charles is reportedly eager to mend fences with his son, Prince William is allegedly dead set against welcoming his brother back into the royal fold. Weighing in, royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner claimed that Queen Camilla is fed up with William’s snooty attitude and has urged Charles to 'put a stop' to his unnecessary interference.

Turner touched upon recent reports that William allegedly harbors resentment and unforgiveness towards Harry after the latter's many bombshell interviews. Speaking to The Mirror, he said, "Charles has great humanity, and I think he just needed the corners smoothed out, and I think that’s what Camilla has done more than anything." He continued, “I think what is happening at the moment, and it’s just my inkling, there’s nothing I can sort of prove, and say, ‘This is the case,’ but I get the feeling at the moment, that she’s seeing William trying to create issues, and she’s told Charles to stop it."

According to the royal photographer, Camilla has influenced Charles, bringing out the best in him. He added, "I get it, I think in a lot of ways, he is a very good King, I really do, and I think, where he’s come in his life now with Camilla by his side, Camilla is a much stronger person, I think, for him." Turner also suggested that the Queen Consort helped arrange a private meeting between Harry and Charles's aides as a first step toward the father-son reconciliation. He spilled, "It's been rumored for a while that William has been trying to push — whatever — in the monarchy, at the moment, that he’s the driving force behind the throne, and I think, Charles should be."

Unsurprisingly, Camilla and William have not had the smoothest relationship ever since her affair with Charles came to light while he was married to the late Princess Diana. It is also reported that the Queen Consort was anxious about meeting her stepson and Harry for the first time, given her strained history with their mother. As reported by Fox News, royal author Christopher Anderson claimed, "Camilla was so terrified at the prospect of meeting William that when she finally met him at Clarence House, she was trembling like a leaf and needed a vodka and tonic afterward." The author added, "That seems perfectly understandable since Camilla — and the world — knew she had destroyed the marriage of William’s parents, Charles and Diana."

While Camilla may allegedly be upset with William's interference in the reconciliation with Harry, their relationship has significantly improved since Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024. This was evident when the Prince of Wales was seen planting a rare kiss on Camilla's cheek in greeting her at the Royal Dias ahead of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit.
