Peter Phillips Introduced Girlfriend Lindsay Wallace To Queen Elizabeth: 'It Was A Very Warm Meeting,' Source Says
Peter Phillips introduced his new girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace, to Queen Elizabeth, and it went well!
Looks like things are heating up between Peter Phillips and his girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace.
So much so, Phillips, who is Princess Anne's son, introduced Queen Elizabeth to his new lady.
“The Queen is one of the most important people in Peter’s life, so it’s only right that he introduces Lindsay to her. It was a very warm meeting, and the Queen was clearly delighted to meet someone who makes Peter so happy," a source told The Sun. “Despite the fact that he divorced Autumn [Kelly], they have two children together and relations are still incredibly warm between them. They are both moving on with their lives and accept that the other will find someone else romantically."
“It may still be early days but Peter wanted his grandmother to see he was happy. It is a clear sign that Lindsay has now been welcomed into The Firm and a major first step if they were to ever choose to get married. The Queen just wants Peter to be happy," the insider added.
Phillips and Kelly got married in 2008, and later had two daughters: Savannah, 11, and Isla, 9, but they announced they were going their separate ways in 2019.
In June 2021, the divorce was finalized.
"Mr. Peter Phillips and Mrs. Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today," they said in a joint statement. "Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions."
They added, "Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost. Now, it seems like Phillips and Wallace are in a great place, as he is “head over heels in love” with her, a source told Phil Dampier.
