Palace Officials Allegedly 'Terrified' to Discuss Harry and Meghan: 'Nothing but Trouble'
Palace insiders whisper that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent antics have caused a lot of trouble behind the scenes.
Despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's infamous royal exit six years ago, palace officials are still shuddering to speak about them. Insiders discreetly tell royal expert Richard Eden that the Sussexes' recent antics have reportedly caused a lot of trouble behind the scenes—much of which people remain oblivious to. The couple's latest row with Netflix, along with their upcoming Australia tour, has Eden convinced that Harry and Markle are desperate to squeeze their way back into their past royal life.
In an article for the Daily Mail, Eden shared his opinions on Harry and Markle's latest business struggles. He penned, "The Sussexes' business struggles mean they will be more determined than ever to emphasize their royal connections… Harry is said to be confident that automatic, taxpayer-funded security will be restored by the time he comes to Britain this summer, accompanied by Meghan and their two children, to promote the Invictus Games…" Indeed, this thought, coupled with their many ongoing antics, has reportedly left Palace officials 'terrified' to speak about them. A source whispered, "A lot is going on behind the scenes that people don't know about."
With that in mind, Eden opined that these were very worrying words "for all of us who believe that Harry and Meghan have brought nothing but trouble to the royal family." Moreover, Palace courtiers also allegedly hoped that the Duchess would be able to sustain herself through her lifestyle brand, As Ever, so that she wouldn't need to return to her royal connections. However, Netflix's recent confirmation of separating from the brand has reportedly made officials even more fearful. He wrote, "It's not long since 'sources close to' the Sussexes were alleging that fashion houses such as Gucci and Dior were queuing up to pay her [Markle] millions to be their 'ambassador.' Needless to say, that never happened."
Indeed, Markle and Harry have recently generated public ire after royal author Tom Bower's new book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, accused them of poorly treating the royal family. On top of that, a scathing article by Variety alleged that they exhibited routine unprofessional behavior, which led to Netflix severing ties with them. Meanwhile, the Sussexes have aggressively pushed back against these claims, calling them 'deranged conspiracies' at best.
