New Video Shows Kate Cracking a Brutal Joke After Man Falls Off His Chair and Hits the Ground
The Christmas walkabout at Sandringham has long been one of the most awaited events in the royal calendar. This year too, the royal family gathered at King Charles's Norfolk estate in festive spirit and walked to the church, making small chat with the crowd along the way. In between the greetings and gifts, one playful yet brutal comment by Princess Kate captured everyone’s attention. Wearing a brown tartan coat, the Princess of Wales was having a hearty chat with royal fans when a man’s chair cracked, and he fell to the ground. What Kate said surprised everyone, sending onlookers into fits of laughter.

Funny moment during the Sandringham Christmas walk when a well wishers chair collapsed as Catherine was passing by and greeting people.
Bless his heart, Catherine and him joked that “he had too many mince pies”😂😂😂

The man was heard saying, “What have I done?” as the Princess checked on him. After making sure he wasn't hurt, she delivered a perfectly timed Christmas-themed roast, suggesting that he had eaten “too many mince pies.” While the joke was playfully cruel, it was well-received by the people present, leaving everyone in stitches. The man was among more than 500 royal fans who had lined up on Christmas morning on the route that leads from Sandringham House to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
For Kate, it wasn't the only cheeky comment she made. During the walk, the Princess also recognized a familiar face. A man named ‘John,’ who is a regular attendee at royal events, was present at the scene. Kate greeted him with a "Hello” and quipped, “I see you everywhere.” John laughed and predicted that Prince George would one day have a height of six feet four, even taller than his father, Prince William, who stands at six feet three. The Princess of Wales smiled and responded, “I know, he’s catching up with everybody, isn’t he?” The longtime royal fan then gave Kate flowers, with the Princess graciously accepting them. She said, “Well, hopefully I see you at our next engagement.”
Kate's remark shouldn't have come as a surprise, as William had once claimed in interviews that she has a rather ‘naughty’ sense of humor. In their first sit-down with ITV News after their engagement in 2010, the Prince of Wales had said, “She's got a really naughty sense of humor, which kind of helps me because I've got a really dry sense of humor, so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and things happened.” During the interview, host Tom Bradby had asked Kate if she had a poster of William in her dorm room in college. William jokingly interrupted Bradby and added, “It wasn’t just one, there were like 10, 20 of them.” In response, Kate had quipped, “He wishes. No, I had the Levi’s guy on my wall. Not a picture of William.”
Apart from her sense of humor, the Princess's behavior at Christmas walkabouts also stands out as she has a habit of getting completely engrossed in conversations. Weighing in on the same, Rebecca English told PEOPLE that Kate “lagged behind on the way out, shaking as many hands as possible.” This had happened last year as well, when she realized she was far behind William and her children. She then joked, “I seem to have lost my family.”
