Megyn Kelly Calls Out Harry and Meghan Yet Again in Brutal Takedown

Megyn Kelly labels Meghan a 'grifter' and accuses her and Harry of 'excommunicating' family members for personal gain.

The Duke of Sussex recently poked a bear when he called on US President Donald Trump and other world leaders to help Ukrainians. After Trump's jibe against the young Prince, American commentator Megyn Kelly has launched a blistering attack against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, calling them the ‘Duke and Duchess of Duplicity’ in a television appearance that has sent shockwaves online. Appearing alongside Paul Murray on Sky News Australia, the prominent media host held nothing back as she discussed the massive distance between the Royal Family and the Sussexes. She highlighted the fact that, despite being in the US at the same time, King Charles and Harry were not expected to reunite.

Addressing the fractured relationship between the King and the Prince, Kelly opened her critique by advising royal watchers who are searching for signs of reconciliation to stop and see the circumstances for what they truly are. “They should be interpreting it exactly the way they are, that his son is a s**t and they don't get along anymore,” she said bluntly. She went on to defend the monarch, describing him as “very sweet” while shifting the blame toward the Duke, whom she accused of betrayal, stating, “[King Charles] has been basically called a racist by the son. He's had their entire country called racist.”

While Kelly used some harsh words for the Duke, she saved the harshest words in her takedown for Markle. She accused the Duchess of being the driving force behind Harry’s estrangement from his heritage and family. Talking about Charles while also taking a swipe at Markle’s acting career, the commentator said, “He's had his son give up everything he gave the son for some loser grifter from Deal or No Deal.” She claimed Markle “decided to wrest him away from the Royal Family and everybody who took care of him and gave him every gift in the world.”

Kelly expanded her ‘duplicity’ argument to include the couple’s treatment of their families, noting the similarities between Harry’s alienation from the King and Markle’s long-standing rift with her own father. In her defense of Thomas Markle, Kelly argued that his initial errors in handling the media were simply the mistakes of an ordinary man being forced into the global spotlight. “She didn't take any care of him; she didn't send somebody to walk him through it or protect him,” she said, remarking, “Then she decided he needed to be excommunicated from her life, and he's never met his grandchildren, so that's these two. It's all about them.”

The conversation eventually turned toward the long-term outlook for the monarchy, with Kelly predicting that the existing ‘humiliating’ separation is set to worsen whenever Prince William takes over the throne, adding, “It's not going to get any better for them when William ascends to the throne. William and Harry hate each other now.” As she brought the discussion to a close, the commentator offered some unexpected credit to Queen Camilla, suggesting she plays an important part in keeping the King focused on his official duties as opposed to his “loser son.”
