Meghan Markle’s Sister Claims Prince Harry ‘Is Still in Love’ With Ex Chelsy Davy: ‘She's The One…’
Meghan Markle's older half sister Samantha Markle went live on air and claimed that Prince Harry still loved his ex girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married since 2018 and share two beautiful children. The pair, who first met on a blind date in 2016, have recently been plagued by divorce rumors as they make more solo appearances and pursue individual business ventures. Markle’s elder half-sister, Samantha Markle, did little to put the rumors to rest when she claimed Harry still loves his ex, Chelsy Davy. She went live on air and claimed Davy was the woman who ‘got away.’
Samantha grew estranged from her younger sister after Meghan met and eventually married Harry. She appeared on GB News in 2023 to discuss her brother-in-law’s legal dispute. As reported by the Royal Insider, Samantha said, “In my opinion, clearly, he’s still in love with her. It seems like she’s the one that got away.” She added, “From what I’ve been seeing on social media, maybe she’s lucky and that’s a good thing.” Host Dan Wootton chimed in and noted that the media scrutiny was the ‘main factor’ behind Harry and Davy’s breakup.

Wootton and Samantha also spoke about the Duke’s ‘obsession with Davy,’ particularly in his recent court case for security. Wootton said, “He became very emotional talking about her in court over the last couple of days. He mentions her 118 times in his witness statement, while your sister Meghan is only named 5 times.” Wootton asked Samantha how Meghan would deal with this and if she was a ‘jealous person.’ Samantha replied forebodingly, “All I can say is, I’m thinking that probably it’s the war of the roses inside Montecito [the town where Harry and Meghan live].” These claims exacerbated the reports of Harry and Markle’s marriage being on the rocks.
Harry and Davy dated on and off for seven years from 2004 to 2011. Davy was also allegedly invited to a farewell party in 2020 that Harry’s friends organized before he moved to Canada to be with Meghan and his son. Speaking to New Idea, a friend of the Duke said, “Harry was beaming when he walked into the room, and everyone was there waiting for him. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Chelsy.” They added, “He gave her the biggest hug…She and Harry have a serious connection, but I doubt they would ever hook up or anything.”

While Harry and Davy are reportedly on good terms, royal expert Katie Nicholl claimed the latter wasn’t too pleased with his decision to marry Markle. She detailed an alleged call between the exes. As per Vanity Fair, she said, “It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on. Chelsy was quite emotional about it all; she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding.” Her ‘somber’ and ‘glum’ expressions at Harry’s wedding to Meghan later led to her being ruthlessly mocked on the internet.
