Meghan Markle’s Gold Accessory Has A Prince Harry Link — and It’s Not Her Engagement Ring
This is not the first time the Duchess has shown off the health accessory influenced by her husband.
Meghan Markle’s latest appearance in the UK may have been about a charitable collaboration, but it was her understated jewelry that caught the eye. The Duchess of Sussex announced a partnership with Canadian and US nonprofit Moms Offering More (MOM) on Instagram, showcasing a limited-edition $100 crewneck sweatshirt emblazoned with the words “It’s the little things.” The initiative, launched in partnership with Archewell Philanthropies, highlighted her creative side. However, her choice of accessories offered a glimpse into the personal stories behind her style. From the traditional Welsh gold band she wore at her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry to her three-diamond engagement ring, Markle’s jewelry has always carried its own meaning.
The Duchess was seen wearing a gold chunky band, identified as an Oura Ring 4, on her left middle finger. This smart ring tracks various health metrics, including sleep, activity, and heart rate, and is available in different finishes starting at $349.
The health accessory has a special connection to Harry, who wore an earlier version during their royal tour in 2018. The Duke was an early adopter of Oura's technology, showcasing the ring during the launch of its second-generation model. Oura rings are designed to sync with a smartphone app to deliver personalized insights into one's wellness. The Oura Ring 4 boasts up to eight days of battery life, while the newer Oura Ring 5 was released in June 2026, PEOPLE! reported.
This is not the first time the Duchess has shown off the health accessory influenced by her husband.
In July, she was seen wearing her Oura Ring at a Los Angeles screening of Cookie Queens, a documentary co-executive produced under the Sussex brand. Markle was captured wearing the $2,875-worth Aura Sleeve, identified on her OneOff AI fashion platform page as an accessory made of 14-karat gold and diamonds, designed to fit over an Oura Ring, elevating the health tracker into a statement piece of jewelry.
Markle seems to keep switching her ring styles. In 2019, during Trooping the Color, the Duchess showcased a redesigned three-stone engagement ring, now featuring a thin micro-pavé band instead of the original solid yellow gold one, though it is unclear if the diamonds themselves were changed.
