Meghan Markle Welcomes the Festive Season Early with New As Ever Holiday Collection
Meghan Markle’s brand, As Ever, is seemingly already in holiday mode with its new seasonal collection!
Following her unexpected return to the United Kingdom with her family, Meghan Markle has been working hard to re-establish her presence while keeping a low profile. She has been going above and beyond to launch new collections for her brand, As Ever. Keeping up the momentum, the Duchess of Sussex seems to be embracing the holiday spirit already with a brand-new seasonal collection, making it quite clear that even though it is still October, she is eagerly counting down to December.
Even though it is unclear whether the Sussex family will spend their holiday season in the United Kingdom or California, the Duchess’s brand, As Ever, is going into overdrive with its latest holiday release. The lineup includes a special ‘Hostess Basket,’ a rather lovely gift option beautifully packeted in a woven wicker basket. It features the brand’s Signature Fruit Spread Gift Box, Signature Candle No. 519, Signature Candle No. 084, Herbal Peppermint Tea, Herbal Hibiscus Tea, Herbal Lemon Ginger Tea, and Flower Sprinkles.
The other two giftable options are the ‘Parlour Basket’ and the ‘Pantry Basket,’ which the brand calls the “perfect gift for a holiday gathering.” Other items in the holiday collection included fruit-covered chocolates, a Botanical Confections chocolate bar trio, and a keepsake double-deck parlor card set. Beyond this, Markle also launched As Ever’s limited edition Holiday Advent Calendar, created in collaboration with celebrated Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés. This set features 24 handcrafted chocolates, with some incomparably unique flavor profiles.
The packaging features a beautiful image of the Sussexes' Montecito mansion, reportedly finished with edible gold luster and Markle’s personal calligraphy. However, the calendar's launch has been met with unexpected backlash. According to Page Six, ardent fans have been ‘terrorizing’ two British priests online after they spoke out against the product. The priests had urged their followers to skip As Ever’s luxury calendar in favor of an $8 Christian advent calendar from the Meaningful Chocolate Company, which supports the Leprosy Mission. Unfortunately, the suggestion drew swift fire from the duchess's loyal supporters.
