Meghan Markle Shares Rare Easter Videos of Archie and Lilibet — Including a Magical Egg Hunt
Meghan Markle shared clips of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on egg hunt duty, maxing out the cuteness level like total pros.
Meghan Markle just showed us what a low-key Easter celebration in Montecito looked like, complete with tiny baskets, fun decor, and sunny gardens. On April 5, she shared a sweet video carousel of her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, perfectly dressed for the occasion, as they dashed around on egg hunt duty with baskets in their hands. Interestingly, Prince Harry was nowhere to be found, and can you blame him? With that much cuteness packed into one frame, there really wasn't any room for Papa Sussex to steal the spotlight.
Markle's clips, shared on Instagram, opened with the family's chickens pecking at fresh lettuce straight from their garden. In another video, Archie and Lilibet were seen running side by side, collecting Easter eggs. They were also seen carrying baskets filled with delicious treats and trinkets, as they wandered along a stony path with their adorable pet dog trotting beside them. The little princess was dressed in pink from head to toe, strolling around the grass with her stuffed animal and a pair of bunny ears to match. And of course, their striking red hair stole the spotlight, something they have Harry to thank for.
Archie also showed off his artistic streak as he used a spinning device called 'The Dinomazing Egg Decorator' to color stripes on an egg. Simply captioning the post, "Happy Easter," the Duchess of Sussex proved that she found solace in a quiet life with her small family, rather than marking the festivities with cameras around them. Last Easter, she had shared a video reacting to unexpected guests visiting her home, a mother duck and her ducklings, with the caption, "Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love...and surprises!"
Just a few days prior, the Duchess was spotted in her quiet Californian neighborhood picking up Easter gifts for Archie and Lilibet. A source told PEOPLE that she had spent time at a local boutique selecting Magic Rabbit playing cards and Magic Castle Sea Monkeys, noting that "she was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections" for her children as well as her godchildren. On April 2, she posted yet another video of Archie and Harry on a ski getaway, with the little prince mastering the snowy slopes. She certainly couldn't hide her excitement, captioning the rare post, "My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud ♥️."
In the past, Markle has emphasized the importance of celebrating holidays with Archie and Lilibet as a close-knit family. In a 2024 interview with Marie Claire, she described her parenting style, saying, "Every single holiday is a new adventure," adding that as her kids grow, "Every year it gets better." She also stressed keeping things simple and family-focused, noting their festive celebrations were "always pretty low-key" and spending time doing activities like meals and games together was of paramount importance to her.
