Meghan Markle Reveals The Hobby Princess Lilibet Shares With Princess Charlotte

Princess Charlotte and Princess Lilibet have grown up with distance, but they share some interests.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently made their first public appearance as a couple since returning to the United Kingdom. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on a whirlwind trip to Nottingham, where they engaged in a range of activities while actively supporting causes close to their hearts. Interestingly, the visit also offered a glimpse into a shared interest between Meghan’s daughter, Princess Lilibet, and her cousin, Princess Charlotte.

During this visit, Markle seemingly engaged in a rather fun confidence-building workshop. There, she met some youngsters from a local school who were making crafts. She also spoke with each of them about their lives, while telling them about her own children.

The Duchess went from table to table to ask every kid, “When do you feel most yourselves?” In response to this, they opened up about what makes them happy. One of these kids told her that doing gymnastics and crafting makes them happy. 

This reportedly brought a warm smile to Markle’s face as she responded by saying, “My daughter’s doing gymnastics right now. She loves it.” Furthermore, she also gave some wholesome advice to one child as she said, “Sometimes you have to remember to be kind to yourself. And remember to talk to ourselves as we talk to our best friends!” She also gave every child seated there an inspirational card.

Gymnastics is also a shared interest of Charlotte, who is known to enjoy the sport.

According to reports, Charlotte is very enthusiastic about gymnastics. In fact, this has been mentioned by both of her parents over the years. Furthermore, during a visit to the SportsAid House, the young princess also opened up about the sports she enjoyed. Even Tim Lawler, the charity’s chief executive, mentioned that Charlotte had been very clear about her favorite. She told him, “It’s gymnastics that I like.” According to The Telegraph, Prince William remarked that Charlotte “loves gymnastics and ballet.”

Meanwhile, Princess Kate made it clear that Prince Louis is also working on his own acrobatic skills, while trying to perfect handstands. This proves that even though the cousins have spent their lives far apart, they have a lot in common.
