Meghan Markle May Follow Harry's Lead to Write ‘Her Side of the Story’ in Bombshell Memoir

Meghan Markle could be preparing to tell her side of the royal story once again. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently ruffled feathers with their UK return, but as per a royal expert, they might have an even bigger move planned. While the couple has maintained a low profile lately, it could be the calm before the storm; if the claims are to be believed, Markle might follow in her husband’s footsteps and put her own version of events on paper in the form of a memoir.
The idea of Markle writing a memoir is not entirely surprising, considering the massive impact of Harry’s 2023 book, Spare. The memoir revealed numerous details about the royal family and detailed Harry’s difficult relationships with several relatives. While the book was a huge commercial success, it also damaged his relationship with his family members, as Prince William, Queen Camilla, and many others were reportedly upset with the jabs directed at them. Now, royal expert Katie Nicholl has claimed she has repeatedly heard rumors that Markle could also be considering a bombshell memoir of her own.
Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast, Katie said, “There’s a rumour that she’s going to be writing a book. Actually, I’ve heard this repeatedly." Further in the conversation, she shared, "It wouldn’t surprise me at all. We know what Harry got paid for Spare. I’m sure she hasn’t completely milked her side of the story.” The podcast guest Mark Dolan also weighed in on the possibility of Markle releasing a memoir, suggesting there could be a major financial incentive behind such a move.
Dolan reflected, “Meghan could cash in now, or she could cash in as a divorcee.” However, while Dolan and Nicholl discussed Markle's possible memoir, there is no official confirmation of it from her team. With the Sussexes' history with memoirs, if Markle does eventually decide to release her own memoir, it could become another major chapter in their ongoing story and one that would undoubtedly attract huge attention from royal fans around the world.
Previously, Harry’s memoir, Spare, became one of the most talked-about royal books in recent years and caused further strain between the Duke and his family. With Markle and Harry's relationship with the royal family already weakened, yet another memoir could backfire on all their chances of any possible reconciliation.
