King Charles Launches New Royal Product at Buckingham — and It Has Charlotte's Stamp of Approval

King Charles's savvy business move appears to be inspired by Princess Charlotte, a known fan of a famous plushie trend.

It's no secret that King Charles dotes on his grandchildren, often expressing his affection through thoughtful gestures and shared family traditions. It is hence no surprise that his latest business move appears to have been inspired by his granddaughter, Princess Charlotte. The monarch has introduced a new gift collection featuring Jellycat's popular range of plush toys, available for purchase through the Royal Collection Trust Shop and at Buckingham Palace.

For those unversed, Charlotte is known to be a fan of Jellycat-themed products, making the launch a subtle nod to her favorite trend.

Royal fans can now shop for a wide range of Jellycat products on the Royal Collection Trust Shop website, including stuffed toys inspired by regal afternoon teas. Among the offerings is a 'smiling teapot plush keyring,' described as "a charming character inspired by our iconic Great Exhibition range and a playful addition to our Tea at the Palace collection." Then there's the matching fluffy teacup, a cucumber sandwich, and a strawberry cupcake keychain. With comfort-focused accessories poised to be a major trend in 2026, the King appears to have found the perfect source of inspiration.

Charlotte is a known fan of Jellycat's plushies, bag charms, and keychains, and has reportedly built up a collection alongside her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis. Prince William has also revealed his children's craze for the toys during a 2025 Buckingham Palace garden tea party. When gifted a pair of Jellycat soft toys, he quipped, as per the Daily Mail, "My children will love these. They are children's currency." Meanwhile, Kate had added, "It matches my dress. How did you know? We talked about it. When I see the fish and chips Jellycat, I think of her."

It seems Charlotte isn't the only fan of the latest trend, as her cousin, Princess Lilibet, has also been spotted using a Jellycat-themed bag across the pond. Last summer, she could be seen touting one of its Amuseables Rainbow Bags, with her red hair on display, in a video posted on the Instagram of Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand as the mother-daughter duo searched for berries in their Montecito garden.
