Fergie Blames One Royal for Her Downfall After ‘a Couple of Drinks’ — and No, It’s Not Andrew
As Fergie calls out another royal, insiders hint she may be overlooking her own role in the fallout.
Sarah Ferguson has vanished like a ghost ever since her past connection with Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced. Things spiraled quickly for her, and she ended up stepping away from her royal titles and moving out of the Royal Lodge she once shared with her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. According to a source close to the royal family, Ferguson reportedly ‘feels incredibly betrayed’ by one particular royal member, who has also been her close friend.
An insider told Heat, “Fergie's very bitter, she's angry, and feels wronged by everyone in the family. She doesn't have the guts to confront anyone, but when she's had a couple of drinks, that's when the liquid courage kicks in and when she starts unloading.” They continued, “Camilla’s been getting the brunt of Sarah’s fury. They were very close friends for years, so Sarah feels incredibly betrayed.”
Furthermore, the source has also revealed that Ferguson is still rattled by everything that has come out recently. Especially the fresh revelations about her past links to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. They said, “What people don't see is just how low she's sunk. Every time she opens a paper or goes online, it's another reminder that she's completely on the outside, and there's no real way back, and she's really struggling to come to terms with that.”
However, not everyone is convinced by Ferguson’s sob story or blames Queen Camilla for her downfall. Royal expert, Andy Worden, wrote for the Express regarding the latest revelation and said that her situation is a result of her own making. “So it has nothing to do with her decision to fly to America with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to New York to meet vile p-------- Jeffrey Epstein just days after his release from prison for procuring a 14-year-old girl for p-----------?,” Worden wrote. She continued, “Nothing to do with her allegedly gossiping about daughter Eugenie being away on a ‘s------- weekend’.”
Ferguson is reportedly not handling the situation in the healthiest way as the pressure around her continues to build. According to a royal insider, she has been coping by shutting things out rather than dealing with them directly, which is only making things spiral further. The source suggests this has led to a pattern where she vents her frustrations, only to feel even more isolated afterward. Those close to the situation also claim she has not shown much interest in taking accountability, instead feeling she is fully justified in speaking her mind.
Another source has revealed that the disgraced ex-Duchess will never return to the U.S. again. She is allegedly scared of the ‘reactions’ she would face from Epstein’s victims and Congress. “She feels it would be unbearable and does not want to be put in a position under oath where she would be asked not only about Epstein but also about Andrew,” the insider revealed.
