Charles & Camilla Attend First Ever Windsor Castle Film Premiere — And It Was a Star-Studded Affair
Windsor Castle played host to a milestone event last evening as King Charles and Queen Camilla greeted attendees to a rare film premiere held within the royal residence. It was a star-studded affair. The royal couple welcomed an A-list audience to the Castle’s Waterloo Chamber for the premiere of Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision. It was a landmark moment that brought together royalty, celebrities, and cinema.
The evening celebrated the King's upcoming documentary, which will soon be available on streaming giant Amazon Prime Video from February 6. Buckingham Palace acknowledged the same in a statement that read, “Finding Harmony will chart how The King’s Foundation, which is headquartered at its flagship regeneration project, Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, has sparked a global Harmony movement.” Shot in 2025, the program puts Charles front and center as he reflects on environmental issues and watches archival footage of earlier speeches that helped shape his legacy through long-standing advocacy on the issue.
Apart from Charles and Camilla, other senior royals like Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester also attended the event. Prince William and Kate Middleton were notably absent. However, the guest list contained renowned names like Judi Dench, Stanley Tucci, Rod Stewart, who attended with his wife Penny Lancaster, and Kenneth Branagh. Kate Winslet was scheduled to open the screening. She not only plays the narrator in the documentary but also serves as an ambassador for The King’s Foundation.
Winslet’s narration added to King’s voice and philosophy throughout the film. This included his own perspective on humanity’s relationship with the natural surroundings. Charles said in the documentary, “It all boils down to the fact that we are actually nature ourselves, we are a part of it, not apart from it, which is really how things are being presented for so long,” He adds, “Maybe, by the time I shuffle off this mortal coil, there might be a little more awareness… of the need to bring things back together again.” The film also follows the publication of his book from 2010, also named Harmony. It was co-written by Tony Juniper and Ian Skelly. The individuals appeared alongside noted academics and global leaders who work on nature-based initiatives. In order to celebrate the film’s release, the book will be republished with a new cover by Harper Collins and will launch in March 2026.
While the documentary largely centers on the King’s environmental vision, a personal note also drew tons of attention. According to PEOPLE, a brief clip showed a young Prince Harry fly-fishing with his father. It’s being described as a heartfelt sign of bridging the gap between father and son after years of strain. However, Prince William appeared more frequently in the documentary. It featured him playing on the grass with Charles and tending to cows at the royal family’s Home Farm.
