Archie and Lilibet's Sweet Christmas Kiss Steals the Spotlight in Meghan's New Anniversary Photos
Meghan Markle shared a mood board with rare family photos to mark her 7th wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on May 19. Markle marked the occasion with a mood board on Instagram, featuring photos of milestones with Harry. One sweet picture featured Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet sharing a sweet kiss in front of a plush Christmas tree.
Markle captioned the same, “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story. We appreciate you. Happy anniversary!” As reported by People magazine, royal fans were thrilled at the rare photo of Archie planting a kiss on Lilibet’s forehead, surrounded by presents and stockings hung on the mantle behind them. Both children share their father, Harry’s, signature ginger hair, with Lilibet’s styled in adorable pigtails. The photo also came with a handwritten label which read, ‘2022.’

Markle and Harry are raising their kids in Montecito, California, the Duchess's home state. The couple, who stepped down as senior royals in 2020, left the UK to lead a quiet life away from the British press. A source told People magazine that Archie and Lilibet are the center of their world in Montecito, “their happy bubble.” They added, “The kids are adorable. They’re incredibly smart, articulate, and fun.” Another insider, however, wasn’t very kind to Markle's decision to share pictures of their kids. They told Page Six, “If they weren’t [on the photo board], would anyone be interested? Harry is all about protecting his kids, so I can’t imagine he will be happy with this.”

Markle’s anniversary collage also featured other snapshots of their two children. One of the photos was an ultrasound image, while another featured Markle with a baby bump from when she was pregnant with Archie. Harry is also seen cradling his newborn after his birth in 2019. The montage also shows Markle cuddling with Princess Lilibet, and a sweet shot of Lilibet in her crib in 2021. The collage also shows travel snaps from 2023, a cozy hug between the Sussexes during a snowy getaway in 2024, and a joyful family beach day. Other memories included their first blind date in 2016, their first vacation in Botswana and Norway in 2017, and their royal wedding in 2018.
The Duchess of Sussex has often gushed about her beautiful family in various interviews. As per Elle Magazine, in her recent appearance on the Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, she exclaimed, “You know, I mean, H, that man loves me so much…We’ve built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children, [Archie and Lilibet].” She also teared up while reading a heartfelt letter from her kids. She gushed, “So sweet. I also love that it's mummy, instead of mommy, which is very British. I wasn't expecting this, they're just so great.”
