Princess Kate and Prince William are still going strong after 15 years of marriage, and their unshakeable bond continues to show in the smallest of gestures. Recently, when the entire Wales family attended the Commonwealth Games, fans there were treated to one sweet moment between Kate and William.

The family spent the day cheering from the stands as they watched the netball semi-finals in Glasgow. William and Kate were joined by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie. Between the action, the royals were seen chatting and enjoying each other's company, with photos from the event capturing the sweet candid family moments.

But one moment particularly caught the attention of netizens. Initially, William and Kate were seated apart, with George and Charlotte between them, meaning they had to lean across their children whenever they wanted to chat. Later, they changed their seating, so that the loved-up pair could sit side by side and chat freely for the rest of the event.

The easy-to-miss gesture left fans gushing. Even after all these years, William and Kate still seem to enjoy being by each other's side.

This is not the first time the couple have had royal watchers talking. Earlier this summer, Kate was cheering William on from the sidelines at a charity polo match on July 10. After his team won, she greeted him with a kiss before the two walked off hand in hand, with Kate gently placing a hand on his back. Usually the couple keeps PDA to a minimum during royal outings, but after a tough year with Kate's diagnosis, the pair seem to be enjoying themselves, occasionally forgoing protocol.

Myka Meier, royal etiquette expert, previously told PEOPLE, “Senior members of the royal family would likely not be told how to interact or when they can or can not show PDA and would be trusted to use their better judgment as to when it’s appropriate.”

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward also explained, “They’re in a different phase of their life now. William is very protective and very proud of her for coming through this and carrying on with her life.”
