According to recent reports, another former royal has chosen to return home alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, has returned to Britain. After hiding away from the public eye following renewed scrutiny over her ties to Jeffrey Epstein, she is going for an unexpected ‘homecoming’ with plans to rent a six-bedroom home in the Home Counties outside of London for approximately $8,000 (~£5,900) a month. Her sudden return has raised plenty of eyebrows, leaving royal observers wondering where she was hiding out—and how she is funding her return. According to an eyewitness reporting to Rob Shuter’s Substack, Naughty But Nice, the former duchess has even traded her iconic red locks for a blonde look.
But that’s not all; she has been described as “almost unrecognizable,” which clearly worked in her favor. She was apparently sighted having dinner at a restaurant in Cape Town, where she met up with a younger blonde woman and her adorable, small dog. The witness went on to describe the scene by saying, “Nobody had a clue it was Fergie. The famous red hair was gone. She was blonde, much slimmer, and looked completely different. Honestly, she had the perfect disguise.” They also recalled a moment when a five-year-old child stopped by to pet the small dog, which gave the family an unexpectedly close ‘encounter’ with the former Duchess of York. But that wasn’t all; the unexpected twist followed as Ferguson left.
Apparently, the restaurant staff revealed that this wasn’t the first time Ferguson had dined with them. In fact, she was reportedly a regular. The eyewitness explained, “They told us she was a regular and had been coming in for weeks. That’s when we realized this wasn’t a quick dinner. Fergie had apparently been hiding in plain sight.” This incident reportedly made it clear that she had been laying low in Cape Town after her Swiss hideaway was made public. The eyewitness added, “Nobody stared. Nobody bothered her. For once, Sarah Ferguson wasn’t Fergie. She was just another blonde having dinner.” Neither Ferguson nor her representatives have made any official comments regarding these claims as of yet.
