Queen Sofía attended some royal duties on Wednesday, September 15, as she was photographed at the 56th edition of the Queen Sofía Prize for Painting and Sculpture, which took place in Madrid, Spain.

The royal looked stunning in a blue suit and white shirt, which she paired with several gold necklaces and a blue mask.
"The work 'Spring 2020. Tribute to the elderly,' by José Manuel Martínez Pérez, receives the 56th Reina Sofía Prize for Painting and Sculpture by @AEPEMadrid," it was announced via social media. "After the delivery, the Queen Sofía has toured the exhibition of the finalist works of this edition."

"During the event, Her Majesty Queen Sofía was accompanied by the Secretary General for Culture and Sports, Víctor Francos; the president of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo López; and the director of Public Policies and Institutional Relations of Google Spain and Portugal, Miguel Escassi, among other personalities," the description noted.
"Doña Sofía presented the award to José Manuel Martínez Pérez for the work 'Spring 2020. Tribute to the elderly,' resin and fiberglass sculpture of 77 x 38 x 38 cm. A work that, like all the production of this artist born in Lepe and established in Madrid, is all expression, together with a deep mastery of technique, proportion, anatomy and material, through which life makes its way to immortalize the beauty," the message said of the lucky winner.
