Princess Charlotte has once again proven just how close her bond is with her mom, Princess Kate, with a small but incredibly meaningful gesture. As the Princess of Wales tackled the grueling Three Peaks mountain challenge, she carried a special reminder of her daughter’s love every step of the way. The touching detail quickly caught the eyes of sharp-sighted royal fans, and now, the sweet story behind Kate’s blue lucky charm has finally been revealed.

Kate was seen wearing a blue-threaded friendship bracelet as she tackled the Three Peaks mountain climb last weekend. The bracelet was also visible in the family photos released on Sunday as she warmly hugged Princess Charlotte after completing the challenge. It has now been revealed that the bracelet was handmade by Charlotte, especially for her mother, before starting the demanding climb.

According to HELLO!, the thoughtful gift was meant to encourage Kate during the difficult challenge, giving her a constant reminder of her daughter's love and support until they were reunited at the base of Mount Snowdon. The bracelet clearly holds special meaning for the Princess of Wales—she has continued wearing it even after the mountain challenge, with eagle-eyed royal fans spotting it during her appearance at Wimbledon last week. Interestingly, the future Queen was also spotted wearing it during her recent visit to Evelina London Children's Hospital earlier this week.

Charlotte's thoughtful creation is part of a growing royal trend. On several occasions, both King Charles and Prince William have also been spotted wearing handmade friendship bracelets that many royal watchers have linked to Princess Charlotte. Even recently, during the monarch's celebrated Trooping the Colour, the King was seen wearing a handmade bracelet while waving to his people from the Buckingham Palace balcony. While the Palace has never officially confirmed who made those bracelets, they have often sparked speculation that the young princess enjoys making them for members of her family. This latest revelation marks the first time it has been confirmed that Charlotte personally crafted one for her mother.

The young royal is known to be a big fan of pop sensation Taylor Swift, whose fans famously exchange handmade friendship bracelets at concerts. Many believe Charlotte may have taken inspiration from that tradition when creating the special gift for Kate. The global pop sensation's practice is now the norm in the royal household, with even the King and William happily and proudly wearing the bracelets as good luck charms.
