Princess Beatrice’s Blink-and-You'll-Miss-It Moment at Royal Wedding That Put Divorce Rumors to Rest
Beatrice and Edoardo’s latest appearance offered the perfect unspoken rebuttal to recent rumors about their marriage.
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi joined the royal family for Peter Phillips’ highly anticipated wedding to Harriet Sperling at All Saints' Church in Kemble. While the guest list included King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate, it was Beatrice and Mozzi’s arrival that truly stole the spotlight.
The couple's outing seemed like a befitting reply to recent rumors about their married life. Beatrice and Mozzi were photographed sharing a tender look as they arrived alongside Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, presenting a united front amid rumors of a growing rift. The speculation began after a Daily Mail source claimed that the fallout from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's association with convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein had strained the couple's relationship. According to the source, "Things haven't been great for a while between them, but Beatrice has been determined to soldier on and forge a path through." The source further alleged that Beatrice's tendency to see the best in people may have clouded her judgment, adding, "That is why she was blind to her father's behavior, and the same is true of her belief in Edo."
However, friends of the couple have strongly pushed back against those claims. Speaking to HELLO!, sources close to Beatrice and Edoardo insisted that reports of marital difficulties are entirely baseless. According to one insider, the couple's only real challenge has been balancing their demanding careers while also taking care of their family, as Mozzi spends a huge chunk of his time working abroad. Hence, like many parents, they have been juggling professional responsibilities alongside childcare commitments.
Another friend of the couple told the outlet, "The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating is their busy jobs and looking after their children. They've both had recent stints working abroad and, like so many working parents, have [been] balancing work with looking after the kids." They further added, "Recent reports that things aren't good between them are not true at all." A source similarly stated that any recent distance between the pair had been caused purely by work-related travel rather than personal difficulties.
So, when royal watchers saw the two arriving at Peter Phillips’ wedding, it reinforced the same message. Beatrice was elegant as ever in a floral Emilia Wickstead midi dress. She paired it with beige heels and accessories with a cream hat. Meanwhile, Mozzi was spotted in a navy morning coat, light blue shirt, yellow waistcoat, and gray trousers. Not only did they arrive together, but they continued to share warm moments throughout the ceremony, looking very comfortable and united. As per Sky News, a lip reader also shared that Beatrice seemingly asked Mozzi, "Can you hold my hand?" as they arrived at the venue.
