Prince William has always been one of the most active members of the Royal Family, going above and beyond to champion the causes he genuinely believes in. From climate change to mental health, the Prince of Wales consistently advocates for positivity and meaningful change.

Keeping up with this, the Prince stepped out earlier today to mark Black History Month by traveling to East London, where he spent time with the talented and knowledgeable scholars and inspirational alumni of The Amos Bursary. According to social media, “Prince William described how he was ‘blown away’ after meeting the next generation of young black leaders as he met scholars and alumni of The Amos Bursary in East London, while also having a go on Urban MBA’s 3D printer making a card holder and vase!”

The celebrated charity is dedicated to nurturing and helping well-deserving and high-achieving young Black British talent to build a more equal future. To meet these inspirational individuals, William visited UrbanMBA's shared workspace in Hoxton, where the bursary program operates day-to-day. The royal appearance helped draw attention to the incredible work of the organization, as they support the next generation of talent from African and Caribbean backgrounds in building successful careers.

According to a recent report by GB News, the charity, established in 2009 by Baroness Valerie Amos and her sister Colleen Amos, operates on the belief that while talent is spread equally across society, opportunities are not. Spanning five years, the program aims to “support students from the start of sixth form through to the completion of their university degrees. Participants receive financial support alongside mentoring, leadership development, introductions to professional networks, and guidance on career routes.”

By visiting the facility and spending some time with the incredible people that run the charity, along with the deserving scholars and alumni, William highlighted the importance such charities play in supporting future Black community leaders. During the visit, he engaged in meaningful discussions, learning firsthand how the charity breaks down social barriers to help young talent reach their full potential. Ultimately, the Prince’s appearance underscored the importance of investing in the future, celebrating achievements, and continuing to build a more inclusive society.
