Prince Harry Accused of Using Archie and Lilibet to Send Royals a ‘Bold Message’: 'The Sense Of...'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have their hands full in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. On Father's Day, Markle posted a heartfelt video montage featuring photos and clips of the Duke playing with their kids. Reflecting on the same, body language expert Judi James believes the couple’s well-timed video was intended to send a 'bold message' to the royal family. She claimed the clip represented the 'freedom' that Harry has in California.
Markle's Father's Day video was captioned, "The best. Happy Father's Day to our favorite guy." Analyzing the footage, James told The Mirror, "There is also a very strong message of freedom for the children and Harry here, too." She also pinpointed a recurring theme and added, "With both Harry and his children walking in bare feet, the symbolic reference is to a free life but also to a wealthy one, as walking barefoot on public streets and parks tends to be a dangerous pastime." Sharing her thoughts on how the Duke was represented in the clip, James believed that he was deliberately shown as a tactile dad who was very involved in "teaching his children as they grow."

The body language expert also explained how Markle's Father's Day montage differed from that of other royal family members. She shared, "With William and his children, Kate is very present, holding the camera. The children and often William tend to look into the camera to signal firstly the inclusion of Kate but secondly their sense of having a public role too." She opined that Markle's clips suggested that she is admiring her husband from a distance. "The sense of strong love is present, but it's also a reflective presence as though she's wanting to show how Harry reacts naturally with their children, almost when nobody is watching."

Markle's Father's Day post is part of a growing trend of the Duchess, wherein she shares intimate family moments on Instagram. On June 4, she broke the internet when she posted a video of her dancing and twerking while heavily pregnant to mark Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday. James compared her Father's Day post to the twerking clip and opined, "Unlike the rather basic filming of her pregnancy twerking, this is glossy and idealistic, using lighting and filming techniques to make it look like movie class."
While Harry and Markle seemed to subtly shade the royal family with their Father's Day post, it was King Charles and the royals who allegedly took the first dig at the Sussexes. As reported by Cambridgeshire Live, James said that during their appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Trooping the Color, the King appeared to have sent a 'telling message' to Harry. She spilled, "William's pose resembled the pose he would adopt when talking to his grandmother, too. With his hands clasped in front of his torso, he signaled a sense of respect to his father and the Crown. As a message to Harry, Charles, and William would have signaled unity and a united purpose."
