Prince George, 11, as second in line to the British throne, has his entire life somewhat mapped out before him. When his father, Prince William, ascends the throne, George will have immense 'responsibility' as he would be bestowed with not one, not two, but a total of eight new titles from his father.

George has already impressed the public with his poise during recent public events. On VE Day, the young Prince was seen joining his parents for a tea party with WWII veterans. Neither of the other Wales's children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, were in attendance. This had royal experts convinced that George is being groomed for his future role.

The Prince, who will be turning 12 this month, however, has a huge portfolio to fill. According to the Express, he will become the 28th Prince of Wales after William, who is the 27th. He will also inherit the title of Duke of Cornwall, which was once held by King Charles. Registers of Scotland have noted the many titles that George will hold as the heir. The statement read, “The heir apparent to the throne holds the title of Prince and Great Steward of Scotland: currently Prince William, who bears the other Scottish titles of Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Lord of the Isles, and Baron of Renfrew.” The eighth title would be that of the Earl of Chester. George’s spouse will also hold all ranks equivalent to his.

Given King Charles's battle with cancer, and William likely to be King sooner than expected, the Prince and Princess of Wales are focused on grooming George in a way that would help him understand his responsibilities while also leading as normal a childhood as possible. Commenting on the same, an insider told Royal Insider, “William and Kate are focused on giving George a happy, down‑to‑earth upbringing. While gradually helping him understand the role that awaits him.”

The couple has made it a point to spend as much time with their children as possible, which influenced their decision to move into the more private Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in 2022. A source close to the Princess explained, “Because of her upbringing, she really values carving out family time and making sure it stays a priority.” Kate Middleton's traditional childhood with her siblings, Pippa and James, has her refusing to budge on the core values of 'kindness, respect, and honesty' as she raises her kids.

Coming back to George, earlier this year, after his appearance at Trooping the Color, a body language expert, Arthur Cassidy, lauded how the young Prince carries himself. According to Hello! Magazine, Cassidy said, “Prince George reveals the positive impact of good posture – his head is held high with an open chest, while his personality type serves to positively reinforce just how vital his childhood and teenage development will be for his future role as monarch.” He further added that the young Prince was also aware of his gestures as he watched the parade from the Buckingham Palace balcony.
