People Are Saying The Same Thing About Prince George As He Stole the Spotlight at Easter Service

This year’s Easter service, celebrated on Sunday, April 5th, drew widespread attention for several notable reasons, making it one of the most talked-about royal events in recent months. One of the special aspects of this Easter was the return of Kate Middleton alongside Prince William and their children, after a two-year gap, which was mainly due to Kate's cancer diagnosis. However, another detail that caught everyone’s attention was Prince George’s noticeable height as he walked alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at St George’s Chapel.
The young royal looked smart in a navy suit paired with a blue tie, matching his father and younger brother. He also seemed taller, almost reaching the height of his parents, as reported by HELLO Magazine. Just last year, Kate spoke like a proud mom, accepting the fact that George is growing up at lightning speed. She also revealed that he is wearing the same shoe size as hers, which is between a U.S. size 8 and 9. As reported by Marie Claire, she said, "I know, they're [her three kids] getting big now. George is already in my shoes!" she added.
This Easter wasn’t the first time that George's height caught public attention. Back in 2023, a Christmas card shared by his parents on Instagram showed him already reaching up to his mother’s shoulder, sparking social media buzz about his height even as a young child. Many royal fans have also argued about the possibility that by the time George becomes the King, he may be one of the tallest ones in the country's history. At present, the record is held by former King Edward IV, who stood at 6 feet, 4.5 inches.
Meanwhile, during the Easter event, Prince Louis was seen flashing a wide smile as he stood patiently, even in the sunshine, waiting to greet King Charles, who warmly placed a gentle hand on his shoulder before entering the cathedral. Charlotte also looked adorable in a camel-and-brown collared coat layered over a blue dress that matched her brothers’ ties. Kate, as usual, looked stunning as she chose to wear a cream blazer paired with a coordinating skirt and hat for a polished and elegant look.
This year marked the first time since 2023 that the Wales family joined the Royals for the Easter service at Windsor Castle. They had not attended the event for the past two years as Kate was dealing with her cancer diagnosis and treatment. In March 2024, the 44-year-old princess announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. While she has not provided additional updates on her condition recently, she did share last year that her cancer had gone into remission.
