New Meghan Markle Video Has Aides Claiming It ‘Revives Memories’ as Bullying Allegations Resurface

A recent viral video from her Australia trip shows Meghan Markle reacting sharply when her aide touches Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle has faced her share of hardships within the royal family, including damaging bullying allegations from former staff. Even after leaving the Firm in 2020, seeking respite, those claims continued to resurface. On that note, a viral clip from her recent Australia tour casts her in an unfavorable light, showing her reacting sharply when her aide touched Prince Harry. But for the Duchess's former employees, it is all too familiar, as they alleged that it reflected their experience with her behind closed doors.

In the video posted on Instagram, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are seen at The Royal Children's Hospital, accompanied by their chief of staff, Sarah Fosmo. At one point, Fosmo appears to pat Harry's back while Markle gives her a deadly side-eye. After watching the clip, royal expert Tom Sykes revealed on Daily Beast's The Royalist Podcast, that it reportedly 'revived memories' of former staffers 'traumatic' employment under the mother-of-two. He recalled, "Another former employee told me, 'It gives me PTSD.'" adding, "This is what they said after watching the clip: 'It's classic Meghan... smiling to the public on one side of her face and glowering at you on the secret side where she thinks she is unobserved.'"

To add insult to injury, he claimed another ex-aide scoffed, "The woman [Markle] treats anyone she has power over as totally disposable. You are just treated like a tradesman who is there to fix the toilet." Sykes also clarified that representatives for the Sussexes alleged that the video, which had been slowed down and tampered with, was "designed to be manipulative and perpetuate a false narrative." Meanwhile, Markle's representatives did not respond to comments. The reignited scrutiny comes just after Markle and Harry completed their four-day trip to Australia for a series of business and philanthropic engagements.

The recent allegations about Markle's alleged bullying come as no shock, considering that in 2024, The Hollywood Reporter detailed her staff's alleged painful experience with her. One aide recalled, "She's [Markle] absolutely relentless... She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I've watched her reduce grown men to tears." Another echoed, "Harry is a very, very charming person - no airs at all - but he's very much an enabler. And she's [Markle] just terrible."

For those unversed, accusations against Markle's alleged mistreatment of staff first emerged in 2018, when longtime royal aide Jason Knauf filed a formal complaint about the same. His scathing revelations resurfaced in 2021, just as Markle and Harry were preparing for their infamous sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. As reported by The Times, he argued, "The Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year," and was said to be 'seeking to undermine' the confidence of a third employee. His revelations led to Buckingham Palace formally launching an investigation into the matter, which has never been made public.
