According to Page Six, various sources allege that Markle employs bizarre techniques during interviews, which may hinder the hiring of local help at their new undisclosed residence in the UK.
"When Meghan was previously living in the UK, the way she interviewed household staff was extremely rude," one source claimed. "Applicants would come in to interview for housekeeping or maid positions and were basically forbidden from speaking to her." Applicants were reportedly instructed to submit their résumés and remain silent while the Duchess reviewed them. The insider further highlighted that the applicants would submit their résumé and then be instructed to stand aside, refraining from speaking or making eye contact. She did not engage them in conversation, instead taking her time to read the résumé and assess the individual before dismissing them.
The source indicated that these experiences were extensively debated within household staffing circles as reluctance to work for the Duchess grew. "This happened with enough people that word absolutely got around among household staff," the insider alleged. "People remember how they were treated, and there are a lot of people who simply would not want to put themselves in that position and work for her now."
