Members of the Royal Family are often believed to be calm and composed, qualities that are essential to their public role. While attending state events, official tours, or any other public engagements, they are expected to maintain a dignified presence. However, behind the scenes, several royals are known to have much more relaxed, fun-loving, and adventurous personalities. For instance, during his recent interview with Woman & Home magazine, Princess Anne’s son-in-law, Mike Tindall, revealed a cheeky party game that brings out an unexpectedly competitive side of Kate Middleton.

The former England rugby star shared that he has joined the Princess of Wales in a game of beer pong at parties, where players try to land ping-pong balls into cups filled with drinks, and noted that some royal get-togethers can become surprisingly lively and energetic. As reported by The Mirror, he said, “Sport is rife throughout the [Royal] family - everyone is competitive. We did a podcast [with William, Catherine, and Princess Anne] on how much they love sport. I knew that the Princess of Wales was uber competitive because I'd seen her play a drinking game called beer pong, but normally we play prosecco pong!”

Prosecco Pong is a more refined version of the traditional Beer Pong game, in which players use prosecco or other sparkling wines, such as champagne, instead of beer. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Tindall has brought up the topic of Middleton’s playful side while playing the cheeky party game. Back in 2023, she joined Prince William and Princess Anne on Tindall’s podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, where he described her as ‘uber competitive.’ The comment prompted laughter from Middleton herself, highlighting the relaxed bond shared between them.

Meanwhile, it’s also notable that this close connection extends beyond Middleton and Tindall themselves. Their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, along with Mia, Lena, and Lucas Tindall—are also believed to have a warm, friendly relationship. Previously, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Tindall revealed, “Our family growth has been quite intertwined with theirs [the Wales]. Our kids are very, very close, which is great for the kids that they’re always going to have some cousins and those cousins are going to be the same age and can grow up with them.”
