During her final stop at Agriturismo Al Vigneto in Parma, Kate participated in preparing tortelli, a traditional pasta dish linked to Reggio Emilia, amidst the picturesque countryside and local traditions. Kate, an experienced home cook, assisted the Agriturismo team in preparing lunch for the community.

Kate engaged with local families savoring the Emilian culinary traditions, spending time in a kitchen guided by chef Ivan Lampredi. The Princess of Wales enjoyed a decadent regional meal, Parma Today reported. However, due to unexpected weather conditions, lunch was moved indoors. The spread included classic Parma and Emilia fare, including torta fritta, Parma ham, and cured meats served with Lambrusco, Spergola, and Malvasia wines. “It's a tremendous honor for me, even today I can't believe it,” Chef Lampredi reacted, before adding, “but it's also a great responsibility to cook for the princess.”

Agriturismo Al Vigneto is a rural farm stay in Parma that honors customs, cuisine, and nature. Educators, families, and community leaders gathered to meet Princess Kate, and thanked her for the warm interactions, humanity, and a friendly approach towards the locals. Before bidding her a hearty farewell, they also exchanged ideas about the region's well-known commitment to children.
