Young Royal Fan Uses Prince William as a Courier to Send 3 Questions to Princess Charlotte
William received a handwritten letter for his daughter, Princess Charlotte, from a schoolgirl who had a few personal questions for the young royal.
Prince William shared a sweet moment with a young fan during his recent visit to Somerset, but this was far from a typical royal interaction. The Prince of Wales received a handwritten letter meant for his 11-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, from a schoolgirl eager to ask the young princess a few questions. The future King was bowled over by the kid's innocence, and their adorable exchange is winning hearts.
During his visit to Ilminster on October 6, William met several well-wishers who had gathered to see him. Among them was a young girl holding a handwritten note meant for Charlotte. The schoolgirl handed the letter to the Prince of Wales after shaking hands with him, hoping he would pass it on to his daughter.
As per HELLO!, the young fan explained that she had asked Charlotte "a few questions" in her letter. The little one wanted to know about the princess's favorite color, her age, and where she goes to school. The girl's mother revealed they had waited about an hour to meet William, with the special encounter even taking the young fan away from school for a little while. William warmly greeted the young girl and accepted the letter, making the encounter extra special for her.
While it remains to be seen whether Charlotte will reply to her potential new pen pal, the young fan's thoughtful gesture could spark a sweet exchange between the two. This is not the first time a young admirer has tried to reach the princess through her father. During official engagements, William has occasionally found himself on the receiving end of gifts and cards intended for his children.
The royal children also receive presents from well-wishers during public appearances, including their traditional Christmas Day outing to church, though these are subject to strict royal guidelines. According to the official policy, royal children may only accept flowers, food items in reasonable quantities, books presented by their authors, provided the subject is not controversial, and small gifts valued at under £150 (around $198).
Meanwhile, Charlotte was recently spotted enjoying a low-key outing with her mother, Princess Kate, on London's Elizabeth line. A source told HELLO!, "Catherine had her phone with her and was looking at her phone for a couple of minutes. They seemed very relaxed and were chatting together, smiling. It was a brief interaction with people opposite them, but they seemed very happy."
