William & Kate’s Bombshell New Biography Could Reveal Major Palace Secrets

Explosive insider revelations from St Andrews romance to cancer battles and modern monarchy makeover, can all be found in the book.

A fresh biography promises to crack open the private world of Prince William and Kate Middleton, landing just as the royals gear up for their next big move. Titled William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, this joint portrait drops on February 26 from Ebury Spotlight(Penguin Random House)—the first deep dive into the Prince and Princess of Wales together in over ten years.

It traces their path from St Andrews University right up to their day-to-day life, as Prince and Princess of Wales, drawing on rare chats with palace insiders, who, according to the author, gave real behind-the-scenes scoop. One can expect unflinching looks at flashpoints like the media firestorm over their 2022 Caribbean tour, the profound shadow of Queen Elizabeth II's passing that same year, the seismic exit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2020, and  Catherine's brave battle with cancer.

And what sets it apart, according to the author, is that it shines a spotlight on the couple's grit and their blueprint for a monarchy that's sleek, modern, and ready for tomorrow's challenges. The book is penned by Russell Myers, who is the Mirror’s royal editor. He's appeared in more than a dozen documentaries, holding court on radio and TV as he dissects royal twists with insider flair. Myers also hosts the Pod Save the King podcast, which has garnered 15 million downloads worldwide.

Myers took to X, announcing the release date, and said, “I am delighted to announce that my first book, William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, will be published on 26th February. 'It will also be out in the US on 10th March...I can't wait to share it with you all!



The book's description reads, “Drawing on exclusive access to numerous palace insiders, this is the first joint biography of William and Catherine to be written in over a decade, by acclaimed royal journalist and broadcaster Russell Myers. From the relentless media scrutiny and controversies of their 2022 Caribbean Tour, to the shock cancer diagnoses of both the Princess of Wales and the King, this captivating biography intimately traces the story of William and Catherine's relationship from their earliest meeting at St Andrew's University to the present day."

Adding that the book provides untold stories, the description notes, "William & Catherine offers never-before-told context about the biggest stories to have followed the Prince and Princess of Wales in recent years - including the Sussex departure, the forming of the "Cambridge way', and the death of Queen Elizabeth II - and provides an unprecedented glimpse into the private lives. Highlighting the couple's resilience and dedication in the face of adversity, Russell presents a deeply personal perspective on how the events the Prince and Princess have weathered together will shape their vision for a modern monarchy - as they set out to secure its safe continuation at a time of extreme change and turmoil.”

Few other books written about the couple, include, Kate: The Future Queen by Katie Nicholl, The Making of a Royal Romance: William, Kate, and Harry--A Look Behind the Palace Walls (A revised and expanded edition of William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls) Katie Nicholl, William and Kate: A Royal Love Story by Christopher Anderson among others.
