Queen Camilla and King Charles have returned from their summer vacation and are all set to resume their royal duties. In fact, the Palace has already announced details of the King and Queen's upcoming autumn tour, which they will be embarking on at the end of October. The royal couple will travel to the Bahamas, Guyana, and Antigua and Barbuda to celebrate the communities, culture, and nature within the Commonwealth. The tour will culminate with their attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

Meanwhile, the Queen has been keeping busy with several memorable engagements, including a recent visit to the Royal Academy of Dance. There, she honored Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy by presenting the 2026 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award to Christopher Wheeldon. According to HELLO!, she also had the privilege of running into the president of the academy, Dame Darcey Bussell, as well as Sarah Platt, her own ballet teacher back in the day. Platt even used to run dance lessons for the Queen at Clarence House.

When they met, the Queen greeted her with a warm hug, prompting Platt to ask Camilla about her health and how she was feeling. Responding with a warm smile and a lighthearted joke, the Queen exclaimed, “I'm still standing! Just!" Following this, the Queen made a vulnerable admission about her health, adding, "But I'm a little creaky." Platt is the creative mind behind the Royal Academy of Dance’s Silver Swan program for older people of all abilities aged 55 and over. She had met the Queen during an official engagement in 2017, when Camilla reportedly told her, “I wouldn’t mind becoming a silver swan.” She also said that her office would be in touch.

While elaborating on this, Platt also added, “I never thought they would be, but they did, and we started only a few months later. We’ve been doing the classes ever since. I go to Clarence House. There’s normally around four of them: Her Majesty and a few friends or staff. She loves ballet, and she really gives it her all." Camilla also watched a class during her visit and later conversed with the people there, saying, “It’s so uplifting. It gives you a bit of a buzz and makes you feel a lot better. I love it, and you were brilliant. It's absolutely the best thing."
