It seems like Princess Margaret’s eldest grandson, Samuel Chatto, is officially off the market. The young royal recently got engaged to his longtime partner, Eleanor Ekserdjian, following the cutest proposal ever, featuring a uniquely handcrafted ring. This turn of events adds another royal wedding to the calendar. Even King Charles, who was recently informed of the news, is reportedly delighted for the young couple. According to the announcement, Chatto and Ekserdjian are set to tie the knot next spring and are already busy planning the ceremony. Samuel's parents, Lady Sarah Chatto and Daniel Chatto, are sincerely excited for the couple, who first met in 2021 while attending the University of Edinburgh and began dating shortly after. They have been inseparable ever since. Even Ekserdjian's parents, Professor David Ekserdjian and Susan Moore, are delighted with the happy news.

The pair officially confirmed their relationship back in 2021, telling the Daily Mail's Diary Editor, Richard Eden, “We are a couple.” Following graduation, they moved into a London home together to pursue their shared passion for the arts. While Ekserdjian is a film artist and painter, Chatto works as a professional ceramicist. Their love story is truly heartwarming, and it is no surprise that the former has been welcomed into the extended royal family with open arms. As the couple prepares to say “I do” next spring, royal watchers will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on every update. Their engagement marks another joyful milestone for the family and the beginning of an exciting new chapter together.
