Some royal source are 'scared' that Gary Goldsmith may reveal what caused the Princess of Wales' surgery.

"I mean the royals have had a really rubbish time of it late lately," former Big Brother contestant Kerry Katona told an outlet. "I feel like putting somebody like Uncle Gaz in there, he's really not going to help matters. I mean especially what's going on with King Charles and Princess Kate."

Goldsmith makes his appearance as the Princess of Wales continues to recover from a "serious" abdominal surgery she received on January 16. The future queen was spotted in a car with her mother, Carole Middleton, and is still expected to return to royal duties "after Easter."

His decision to join the series has been called the "most controversial signing ever."

Gary Goldsmith has long been an outspoken critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"He is one of those relatives who needs a lot of attention and wants to get some money," royal expert Angela Levin dished. "Even though I believe he is a millionaire, he would like to make money out of it, and I think that's a shame," she added. "The thing is, he probably thinks he can control whatever he says and become famous. But in actual fact, with the cameras running all the time, you can easily slip and say something completely inappropriate."

Levin continued: "It will get people watching. I think it's the wrong thing to do, particularly at the wrong time. He should have said, 'Look, I'm sorry, I don't want any questions about my niece, and I won't be coming on the show.' I think it's cringe-making, very embarrassing, the trouble is he doesn't like Harry and Meghan at all, some of these comments will fall onto Catherine and she's had a lot against her."

Gary Goldsmith is predicted to criticize Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on live TV.

A source close to the Middleton family holds a more neutral view of Goldsmith's appearance on the popular reality program.

"Gary also holds a deep affection for Kate and William and will be able to give a fascinating insight into what it’s really like being related to the future King and Queen," they spilled. "He could be TV gold and ITV knows it. The deal he signed is for good money."

Another insider feels that the businessman's main impetus for doing the show is to be the "spokesperson" for his family against the "vile claims" from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"When you have people going off-piste, which is exactly what Harry and Meghan have done, and we see all the destruction that has caused," they shared. "He appears not to be supportive of Harry and Meghan, and I think there’s a danger in that."
