There has been much praise for Prince William's professionalism, and we just got a glimpse of how perfectly the future King balances his responsibilities while still enjoying life and indulging in the things he loves. From fulfilling royal duties with his usual charm to quietly celebrating a deeply personal passion away from palace walls, William recently reminded everyone why he continues to resonate so strongly with the public. He was recently on a Nansledan tour in Newquay, and while talking to the crowd gathered to meet him, he made a candid confession that left the royal watchers in stitches.

William's enthusiasm for celebrating his favorite Premier League football club's win caught everyone's attention, but now it’s his effortless ability to switch between devoted royal and passionate football supporter that truly has people talking. Just a night before, William was in Turkey cheering for Aston Villa, and following their victory, the Prince let it loose, partying and celebrating with his friends and fellow Villa fans. However, William did not let a night of fun come in the way of his royal responsibilities.

The next day on his tour, the Prince looked fresh as ever, paying an ode to his favorite club, dressed in a blue shirt and claret tie. Sharing his excitement about the big win, he told the crowd, “I’m trying not to talk about it all day!” William also took a dig at himself and how he had lost his voice after a day of partying. On arrival, he was presented with posies of flowers from Year 2 and Year 4 of Nansledan Primary School and younger children from the Naturally Learning Nursery, prompting him to apologize for sounding croaky as he told them, "I'm losing my voice." Further, during his visit, the heir to the throne posed for selfies, shook hands, and petted a 15-week-old cocker spaniel called Professor Lupin, saying, "Hello, you're very sweet! I love dogs; ours are Orla and Otto." William then asked, "Is he behaving in the house? Is he chewing everything? Ours chew slippers. Anything left on the floor is gone.” When a local in the crowd shook the Prince's hand and asked, "I just thought I'd ask, did you have any sleep last night?" William laughed and replied, "You might hear it in my voice. On best behavior!"

During the tour, he also revealed that while he is an Aston Villa fan, his daughter, Princess Charlotte, does not support the same team. He revealed, "My daughter loves Chelsea." Well, it seems like football and other sports are a major bonding topic in the royal household, with each having their own favorite.
