Author Claims Harry Allegedly Cheated on Meghan Markle With a Model at 'Private Party': 'He Took Her...'
Prince Harry is suspected to have cheated on his now-wife Meghan Markle with a model during the early stages of their relationship.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for 8 long years, having married in 2018. However, in the early stages of their fairytale romance, Harry allegedly cheated on Markle with model Sarah Ann Macklin. Royal author Angela Levin spilled the details of their rumored affair in her work Harry: Conversations with the Prince. She claimed the two went on a few dates, though it turned out to be ‘just a fling.’
Levin told the Daily Express, “During the very early stage of his relationship with Meghan, Harry was thought to have gone on dates with Burberry model Sarah Ann Jacklin. They met at a private party, he took her number and bombarded her with texts."
Levin added that their connection might have continued if their lifestyles hadn’t been polar opposites. She penned, “They tried, although they were very different. She led a very healthy life and hardly drank. It was a matter where they were on a completely different wavelength.” A friend of Macklin also told the Daily Mail, “They were introduced at a social gathering and Harry made a beeline for her. She was very flattered by the attention, and they went on a few dates. Everything was kept very below the radar.”
Despite Levin’s claims, the Prince was smitten when he laid eyes on his future wife on their first date. In their engagement interview with the BBC, he shared, “I was beautifully surprised when I walked into a room and there she was sitting there.” He revealed that after they met in London for the first time, he managed to persuade her to join him in Botswana, where they camped out together 'under the stars' and enjoyed 'five days together'. He added, “We were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure we had a chance to get to know each other.” BBC reports that the couple returned the next year when Harry began designing the engagement ring: at its center is a diamond from Botswana.
Harry isn't the only one accused of infidelity; Markle has also been suspected of it. According to royal expert Tom Bower’s book Revenge, she was still living with her ex Cory Vitiello when she was set up with Harry. The book also claims that two weeks after their first date, “Harry secretly flew to Toronto. He stayed for about one week in the house of a friend of Meghan’s, probably Jessica Mulroney. With Cory still sharing [Meghan’s] home, the situation for Meghan was tricky but manageable.” Bower alleges that after the Prince returned to London, Markle told Vitiello that their relationship was completely over.
