Queen Camilla arrives in regal style without King Charles for a royal event in London

Queen Camilla arrived without King Charles at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London for the 2026 Chelsea Pensioners Founder’s Day celebrations on Thursday. Also known as Oak Apple Day, the annual event honours the founding of the historic institution for British Army veterans and commemorates King Charles II’s famous escape during the Battle of Worcester in 1651.
