Meghan spots a 'great memory' from 2017

Harry and Meghan’s first official engagement together was in Nottingham on 1 December 2017, just days after they announced their engagement.

Nine years on, one of the faces in the crowd is the same. Irene Hardman, 90, from Roddington, held a framed photo of herself meeting the couple on that first visit. Spotting it, Meghan exclaimed: “Oh my gosh, how sweet is that! That was our very first walkabout. What a great memory!”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Nottingham for their first joint engagement since returning to the UK in August, after six years living in the US.
